Both activities available at north, south and central pacific Guanacaste, depending on the time of the year, weather and tide…
For diving, the best time at north pacific start from May to the end of November and you go to the Catalina’s Island and Murcielago, where you could see, different types of fishes.
Central and south pacific from January to May.

Snorkeling is fun, and is available almost at any beach you visit; you don't need any experience for it and is available for any all ages….
Some hotels lend you the equipment for you to go on your own and right at the shallow water sometimes you could see manta rays and fishes…

Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica: Sport Fishing & Surf Trips

The "Don Manuel" boat is equipped with outriggers, down-riggers, Penn, Shimano & Okuma Reels & Rods, fighting chair and two professional crewmen for your sport fishing adventure. We can accommodate a maximum of 4 people comfortably. Live bait techniques are used and we also troll using lures and teasers. Year round fishing includes Sailfish, Marlin, Dorado, Rooster, Yellowfin and Wahoo. If you want to keep what you catch, Danny will clean your fish for you on the boat. Catch and release is practiced for Sailfish, Marlin and Rooster fish.    

Boat Rental Includes: all tackle and bait, licenses/permits, captain, mate, fresh tropical fruits, soda, beer, ice tea, bottled water, variety of snacks and lunch is provided for full day. Not included: Tips to crew. You will only need to bring sunscreen & hat and a light long sleeved shirt is always recommended.
    
Our fishing trips are booked as private charters and our prices is for the boat rental - not per person.

FULL DAY FISHING - 8 hours
Full day is $425 - we recommend leaving around  7:00 a.m. and return between 3:00 - 3:30 p.m. Lunch is provided. Offshore trolling and bottom fishing. 30 to 50 miles offshore. We recommend full day for those who want the bigger catch and more fish.


HALF DAY FISHING - 5 hours
Half day rate is $300. We recommend leaving around 7:00 a.m. and returning at 12:00 p.m. Inshore trolling and bottom fishing and go roughly 5 to 10 miles from shore.


SNORKELING / FISHING COMBINATION (no extra cost)
If you would like to go snorkeling the last hour or two of your fishing trip, please let us know and we would be happy to take you to one of the many beaches in the Papagayo Gulf. We will provide snorkel gear for you, just let us know your foot sizes.


FLY FISHING
We can take you fly fishing to the mangroves/estuary at high tide for snook or to one of the many beaches in Santa Rosa National Park. Many of these beaches are only accessible by boat. We only have fly-fishing lures so it would be necessary for you to bring your gear.

Not Included in prices: Gratuities to the crew. 15-20% of the total price of the trip is customary.


Surf Trips 

Surfing in Costa Rica is a must destination for surfers around the world and is every surfers dream. Surf the two favorite breaks: Witch's Rock - a 40 minute ride from Playa Del Coco/Playa Hermosa and Ollie's Point is 20 minutes from Witches Rock. Both spots are located in Guanacaste's Santa Rosa National Park and a park entrance fee is required. Boogy boarders are welcome to ride the waves as well.

PRICE
Boat rental is $300 and that is to go to both surf spots. This cost can be split among six people. If you'd like to only go to Witches Rock, the cost is $250.00. We provide bottled water, soda, snacks and fresh fruit.

BOARD RENTAL
We have long and short boards for rent for $25 a day.
SURFING & LIGHT FISHING
If you would like to fish on your way to and from Witches and Ollies, we can include fishing gear, bait, and the mate on board for an additional $50.00.

City Tour

What is the best way to quickly see the most important monuments, museums and neighborhoods of the country you are visiting? Take a City Tour! This private city tour begins at your hotel early in the morning. You will travel around the city in a comfortable mini van that will easily take you to the various sights the capital of San José has to offer. Visit el Parque de la Cultura, the Teatro Nacional (National Theatre), downtown San José, neighborhoods such as La Sabana and Barrio Amón and finish off in the area of Moravia where a stop at the local artisan markets will allow you to take home a bit of Costa Rica.

Snorkeling tour on the Caribbean

The first part of this tour takes place on a small boat with a fiberglass bottom. A trained captain and tour guide will take you around the Cahuita National Park. This area is known for its immense biodiversity and ecosystems both on land and underwater. In the warm and calm ocean of the National Park is where you will spend from 2 to 3 hours snorkeling amongst the country's coral reef.

After a few hours in the water, the guides will treat you to a snack, fresh tropical fruits and bottled water. Afterwards, the second part of the tour will begin; a hike thru the trails of the Cahuita National Park.

Canyoning / Rappel tour

Your trip begins with a 30-minute 4x4 drive into the tropical rainforest outside the town of La Fortuna, in the shadow of the Arenal Volcano.We trek through the forest on magical trails that lead to some of the most spectacular waterfalls in Costa Rica, a place very few people get to experience. Along the way we will have the chance to discover the secrets that lie hidden deep within the canyon.

From the first waterfall we will rappel down from the top into the beautiful and pristine canyon below. We have 5 rappels, 4 of which are along side or right in waterfalls, and one dry rock face. Then a short trek out of the canyon on a magical trail, jump back in the 4x4 vehicles and head back to the base camp.
